Our practice specializes in treating a variety of conditions, from chronic low back and neck pain to rehabilitation following an accident or injury. We also have weight loss programs, nicotine cessation and cosmetic acupuncture. We have nutritional testing available and recommend supplements based on test results. We can help create a healthier workplace, and increase the overall quality of your health. Our office is located in the Olivette Plaza, two miles west of I-170 on Olive Blvd., in between St. Louis Physical Therapy and I Love Mr. Susi. We recently relocated to this location from 3400 N. Kingshighway and have been in practice since 1995. Our mission at Alternative Care Center is to provide inexpensive, high-quality care to people of all ages. We strive to not only correct a person's health problems, but to educate and enlighten people so that they do not encounter similar problems in the future.

Dr. Aaron T. McDonald grew-up in Newfoundland, Canada, where he received an undergraduate degree in Biology at Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1996. He received a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College - Kansas City in January 2000. Dr. McDonald co-practiced in Kansas City, KS for a short period before opening up his own practice in the Brookside neighborhood of Kansas City, MO. Just a one-room office, the practice grew quickly. Center of Life Chiropractic relocated to nearby Waldo in May 2003. The state-of-the art, contemporary wellness facility allows us to provide great service to current and new clients. We utilize Computerized Spinal Analysis to determine the current condition of your spine and for healing we utilize a “hands-on” method with a combination of current techniques. The focus of our office is wellness care. We understand that your body has an amazing ability to heal a number of problems on its own if allowed to do so properly.
