Phone: (636) 422-2000
View the Description Hide the Description Welcome to St. Louis Community College's new state-of-the-art Wildwood campus which opened in August 2007 in far west St. Louis County.
Wildwood is a "green" campus -- the first of its kind in Missouri -- built with environmentally friendly materials and architecture and designed to enhance occupant comfort and health, reduce operating costs, conserve natural resources and reduce each building's impact on the environment and the community. These concepts qualify it for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification. LEED is the voluntary national rating system standard for design, construction and maintenance of sustainable buildings.
Significant population growth in the surrounding area, enrollment increases at STLCC's West County Education Center and area residents' need for a full-service facility in this part of the county prompted the college to build its first new campus in more than 40 years to replace the West County Education Center. This first phase of a three-phase build-out of the campus offers residents of the area an opportunity to pursue an associate's degree in general transfer studies, business administration or teaching. It also provides a certificate in general education and the developmental classes necessary to obtain the AA degrees or the certificate.
