PROFILE: Missie B's opened it's doors in April 1994 as a piano lounge. Belle Starr began doing Monday night drag shows not knowing that we would soon be known for our drag shows. We are currently the number one Drag Bar in Kansas City featuring the best in female impersonation and have shows 5 nights a week. In addition, we offer karoke two nights a week so you are sure to be entertained every night. We also offer the most affordable drinks in town from noon until 8:00 p.m. daily, and offer nightly drink specials Sunday through Thursday. We have the friendliest staff in Kansas City and you are guarenteed to have a good time any time you visit. After all, we are the home of Good Times and Good Friends! -- Bootleggers Club is located upstairs at Missie B's and is the home of Kansas City Pioneers, Kansas City Leather University, and Mr. Dixie Belle 2007. We offer a DJ seven nights a week as well as a dance floor complete with a dance box and dance poles for those who are more inclined to exhibit those special dance skills. Upstairs features the same great drink specials as the downstairs Sunday through Thursday, as well as a special beer bust and Tea Dance on Sunday afternoons. Bootleggers also offers a leather shop which is open Thursday through Sunday 9:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m. For those who like darts and pool a game room is also available.
